An Eventful Day
Today we:
1- Took Dave to the doctor. He apparently contracted Roseola Infantum at the zoo last weekend. It's highly contagious and, apparently, everyone gets it now. High fever followed by a rash. He's fine.
2- Crashed a church Easter egg hunt for another ward. Dave got 4 eggs! Yay!
3- Got freaked out when the real-eastate people put two signs in our yard because Jordan thought someone was stealing copper from our air conditioner. (Our house goes on the market officially on Monday.)
4- Jordan changed a flat tire-- went completely flat at a red light-- had to replace 2 new tires with newer tires. Learned my car's alignment has issues.
5- Made arrangements with Ty (Jordan's BIL) to do work on my car next week. This means I'll take Jordan's car to work... 140 miles away. It's a good thing we didn't spend our tax return...
6- Finished our trip to hit easter sales and buy 18 month old shirts (because I only had socks, shorts, pants, and jammies for David-- oops)
I could use just a tad less drama in my life... however, I'm glad this was today and not tomorrow or sometime in the past 6 months when I was unemployed. Phew! The divine seems to intervene whenever possible because things could have been a lot worse! =)
PS- I'd write more in my LJ, but I don't have access at work and I have no computer during the week. Bleh. We're talking about a laptop, but it'll have to wait 'till we pay off some credit card debt.
