Okay, I couldn't take it anymore and went spoiler hunting and didn't necessarily get spoiled but it got me thinking regarding what speculations I DID read (so be aware of the cut) and this is my conclusion: Dr. Whale being the big, bad wolf is making NO sense to me. No, really, change my mind but I'm not seeing it.
