Sarah's benefit made just over $600, which is FANTASTIC considering how few people were there and how small Urban Standard is. \o/ The coolest thing is that I think she's found her niche. She'd kick ass doing these benefits all the time.
Today was shite. But that's mainly cuz Russ was in a pissy mood since work sucked so bad last night. I told him all the negativity was spreading to us (not to chew him out, but just to let him know what his job is actually DOING to him) and I asked why in the WORLD he was still there. Insurance. Now, I get that. I get that completely. Hello, just paid off massive bills even WITH insurance. But this is a deadend job, with no promotional possibilities and the managers and other staff are taskmasters. It's time to go. And my hope, my HOPE is that he finally realized that.
And today was also shite because Monster was true to his name, Laura really needs to get a planner so she doesn't double book, and Mila didn't listen when I said I needed to come by her place to get Firefly and Serenity. *stare*
But. FINALLY Laura's done with it. THAT only took about a year. I told her the next TV show we watch that I rec will NOT take this long. You forget too much and that loses the effect of the show. We (of course) didn't get to Serenity, which I'm considering watching now just cuz I need the closure.
But instead I think I'll watch the last two epis of Dollhouse and make clips. *blush*
And is it wrong that I'd rather jump Rahl's bones more than Richard's? SERIOUSLY. "Conversion?" THAT is the stuff Dark Fiction is MADE of. *shivers*
