Change is good?

Well, I've gone and done something, I won't say stupid, but definitely not the smartest thing. Although I'm enjoying it so far.

I changed departments, and everyone I've told about this has looked at me like I'm nuts. I'm enjoying it so far, which I guess is all that matters in the end. We'll see if I'm still in a good mood by the end of the week.

My security profile still hasn't been updates, so I still can't do the changes that I could't do last Wednesday when they threw us to the wolves. That's alright, I now have people who can add these things for me. And more then 90% of my class can't do half the things I can because they don't even have the stuff for the wireless and common system as of right now.

So far the customers have been good. Interesting, but good. It's odd being on the receiving end of those "oh shit what do I do with this!" calls, retention still is one of the departments you call when in doubt.

In other news I'm down another couple of pounds, 240 as of Sunday morning. That will apparently bounce up a bit before it starts dropping again because I've started putting on more muscle. So long as it starts dropping again it's all good. But with that in mind I don't think I'll get on the scale in the next little while. Probably should, but I really don't want to see the going up. We'll wait until cloths start to get larger on me again before I face that beast.

We've started really getting into the stuff with our trainer and at the gym, and oh my good lord to my legs ache. I always thought that the saying "no pain, no gain" was a load of hooey, you shouldn't go until it hurts. But you'll definitely feel it come the next day.
