 so aparently there's some kerfuffle about California getting paid to use a lot of water on crops.  Farmers in California revieve government subsities to purchase water at a low cost so they can produce crops like cotton and rice.

Those who know me in person know that I am incredibly difficult to feed.  Being a picky eater isn't easy.  It means that just because something is food, that does not mean my brain will recognize it as food.  Picky eaters tend not to like complex flavors, and we are reluctant to try new things simply because the words "try it, you might like it" ( Read more... )

My Livejournaling goes up and down.  I've been barely present online lately, I've got a lot to catch up on...but not today.  And so, because airie_fairy did it, and because my diet is a source of horror/amusement to others, I present a food meme:

So you know what's ticking me off lately?  Diet commercials.  Yeah, so our country is morbidly obese and some of us could use a diet, but there's these two diet commercials that have really been getting on my nerves.
