... and here I am already looking forward to Summer movies ... ;) (I blame Rick Dees since I caught a snippet of his morning show today on my drive to work.) ;D ( Read more... )

....that is a freakin whole lot of sequels right there. Yay Hollywood, what what.

Jadeling have you ever read the Outlander books? I want them to make movies out of thooooooooose. (And also I want more people to read them because I LOVES THEM.)

Oooh, Good Shepard. I saw that on Christmas Day. What did you think of it? I liked the story but the pacing and the editing UGH OMG NOT IN A GOOD DAY. Maybe we are crazy, but see if you can answer this without cheating:
Joe Pesci has one scene in the movie. Matt Damon goes to talk to him about something or other (he makes that horrid statement about how white people have the United States of America and everyone else is just visiting). WHAT WAS THE POINT?! Like, to the plot. I ASK YOU. Our (slightly conceited) thought was that if a whole family of smart people COULDN'T REMEMBER it was probably a bad scene. GAH. I am frustrated just rememberingggggg.

Also, I was completely thrown when we finally had a conversation about it and Rob said for a while he thought he was picking up on homosexual overtones. O.o Weird movie.

haha... nope, I haven't read them. Who's the author? Maybe I'll go check him out from the library. :D

*poke* is that the new Professor in your icon? ;D

Nope, actually I haven't watched the movie; just a coworker told me not to bother ;D. So... guessing by what you thought, I prolly won't either. ;)

Do you know what's coming out in the Spring? :) I hadn't heard anything about those movies.

YES CHECK ONE OUT FROM THE LIBRARY!
They are by an author named Diana Gabaldon, who is awesome. She wasn't even really a writer before she wrote these, which is just hard to believe. They are called
Outlander
Dragonfly in Amber
Voyager
Drums of Autumn
The Fiery Cross
Breath of Snow and Ashes
and the last one hasn't been written yet.
They are basically historical fiction but there is time travel and omggggggg they are just so SO awesome. The characters! They are amazing!

That be Nigel, yarrrrr. Isn't he silly?! His NPC brothers, who are twins, are the Mythbusters you know.

I have no idea what movies are coming out. We go see them very rarely, really. Only things that we think
1. Will be very good
AND
2. Will be MUCH better on the large screen than the TV

It's a surprisingly number of movies, yep.
