Clearing My Head
Ok, so I figure this weekend I do it...I get shot down, so what. It was a worthy try, right? Let's just hope that I don't play the predictable card and chicken out.
In other news I am thinking about e-mailing some people within my family and asking them to write up a bunch of family stories and facts. Perhaps mix up the whole family tree project with stories of various relatives. It could be interesting for future generations, plus it is really interesting to learn about various relatives lives and stories. Then again in general it is always fun to hear other people talk about their lives for some reason. You get to hear the most intersting stories sometimes.
I am reading a book called Pathways to Success right now that was written by Dale Carnegie. It combines his two most famous books and I think it is influencing my attitude right now. I would like to use some of it as a guide in my life. I already practice a few things in this book, but I would like to practice more of the key principles. I guess we shall see what happens...Maybe I will start smiling more often...::throws out good karma for fun::
