Supernatural Big Bang 2012 - Art Post (image heavy)

Guys!!!
The story I did my art for this year is SOOOO amazing! The wonderful and truly talented checkthemargins wrote a story I fell ABSOLUTELY in love with after reading its first few pages.
Its characters are really well written and their voices feel very real. It's not "action packed" or overly dramatic but maaaan those emotions can hurt! There are scenes which brought me to tears EVERYTIME I read or just skimmed over them. Jared is so cute and so sad to read at the same time.
And it got Chris! And Steve! I would die for those two!!!

I'm so so so so glad I got to work with this story. So much luck in choosing! Thank you, lovely checkthemargins, for writing this story and for having so much patience with me.
A huge THANK YOU to thehighwaywoman and wendy as well. Without you two and you're extraordinary talent to organize this huuuge event we would be all lost! Great work as always. :D

So, I probably don't have to tell you this 'cause you're here, but: READ "The Extra Light Switch"!!! Now! And then please come back and take a look at my art. Or vice versa.
And I would be a very very happy Jade if you'd leave a comment. :)

THE ART

The hand drawn theme from last year stuck with me, apparently. And there isn't even a reason - just a feeling that it would be fitting to the emotional and intimate feel of the story.

As a kind of logo I chose to depict the switch and used this graphic as well for the parts of the story:

And you now I looove dividers, so this story got one as well:

The pocket watch from Jensen's grandfather got my attention as soon as I read about it. So I did a banner with it. And one banner is too lonely, so the sea otter got one as well. 'cause that part of the story made me smile so hard! Such cuteness!!

No Big Bang without icons:

I asked for wishes for images and  checkthemargins mentioned the scene of Jared and Jensen on the deck stairs.
Sadly this picture is still pretty much in its scribble state because time was running out on me. :( I'm so sorry for that, I wished to have done more with it.
Another thing to notice: I'm SO OUT of practice drawing people (and perspectives). The anatomy is wrong, wrong, wrong. *laughs* Please  be nice and overlook that. ;)

That's it again for this year. :( As always I wished to have more time. And as always I believe that I'll do better next year! :D
