Jade: Ack! Work dammnit!! My vacuum is broken! Feanor! Where is that teenage-Feanor muse Lipstick sent me? He's supposed to be a genius.
Feanor *walks in looking bored*: You can't even be bothered to put the diacritical marks in my name can you?
Jade: No. Since I can't get a web design job I've purged all that useless knowledge from my brain. Now fix this thing. *she adds* Please.
Feanor: I'm a master jewelsmith, not some appliance repair...person.
Jade: You told me you accidentally invented cold fusion when you were eight.
Feanor: Yes *sighs* but no one was interested. It was little more than a minor oddity to a society not dependent on electricity.
Jade: *raises brow, thinking patents* Feanor?
Feanor: Oh no! No mortal who can't even run a vacuum properly is going to take credit for the works of my genius.
Jade: You're the one who complained about the mess.
Feanor: Well those beasts of yours have knocked down every plant in here while you were at that job.
Jade: You could have stopped them you know.
Feanor: Those creatures of Morgoth? They're everywhere! That small one climbed me like a tree!
Jade and Belle exchange glances: Don't call my sacred temple cat that.
Feanor: What about that one? *points at fuzzball*
Jade holds the kitten out at him: Is Fe-Fe afraid of a wittle kittie? Look! I even bathed him. Now he's 'Pantene-clean'.
Feanor *glowers* Don't bring that thing near me.
Jade: Feh! It only says that Elves don't like cats in Unfinished Tales. He revised that tale like three times after that, and that part is no where else! And everyone knows that Tolkien hated cats and none of the books except for LoTR and latter editions of the Hobbit count as canon. So, ha!
*adds* And I'm not some kind of Dark Lord here.
Feanor: It says "World Domination" under Career Goal right there on your resume!
Jade smirks: That's to catch their attention. Not like I have experience or something on there.
And is that my jacket?
Feanor: No.
Jade: Yes it IS! That's my jacket, black leather with flames on the sleeves!
