(no subject)
Yesterday morning the weathermen said it would be 50 all day and 40 the next. Then one of them stuck their head outside and noticed it was really friggin' cold, so they changed it to, "Oh, it could snow tonight". I drove around after work to look at Christmas lights while the roads were still dry.
Now they are saying four inches of snow today. Holy crud, but I guess it is December.
One of my molars is throbbing like crazy. The filling might be loose, it catches and shreds floss anymore. I have no dental coverage till next year! *sob* I need a better dentist anyway, one that can actually get me numb. My sister was complaining about how she hates getting a filling--but said she doesn't even feel the shots. I'm like, "What? You don't even feel them?" That numbing gel actually completely numbs her--it doesn't do a damn thing for me but make my mouth swell, so they don't even bother.
Ow ow ow..... Stupid tooth.
And work would be a lot easier if Jabba could tone down her thunderc*ntness. Once she left it was much better.
They filmed a commercial in the morning, and then later we had a "local radio celebrity" come in to broadcast from the store and sign cookbooks for charity. They had three little asian girls with placards trying to advertise the cookbook thing. They danced and sang 'jingle bells' for a bit, and then just chanted the same thing over and over for about 45 minutes before their mom couldn't stand it anymore. lol That radio celeb woman has a lot of fanboys--I guess they do a lot of sports on that station. It's just kind of funny to me cause she doesn't look like the kind of woman men fantasize about, but they come from all over to shyly meet her.
Oh yeah, the old assistant manager came by, and I haven't seen him since New Year's, and he said he had to come over and hug me. I've been hugged by more men this week than, well, ever.
