Oh my gosh has life been crazy and bad lately. I worked ten hours and twenty minutes yesterday on my poor sore feet, who have not forgiven me yet, and the regulars of us commented on how relaxing it was, despite being much busier than normal (we LIKE that), to get through a day at work without robberies, shoplifters, death threats, fires, gas leaks, getting threatened with guns, tornados, car crashes, really nutty angry customers, and any of the other bad stuff that can and will happen in a day at work.

There's a little boy outside crowing loudly, "The storm is going home! The sky is getting clear again. Look, the storm is going bye-bye, we can go out now." Cute! :D

Little bro got out of the hospital--more like ejected for bad behavior and refusing to follow doctor's orders--and is still trying to make his recovery as unlikely and difficult as possible. Like trying to stand on his bad leg, and refusing to use the risers he's supposed to use to keep his pelvis which is still in many pieces that are surgically pinned and held together with wire mess from coming apart again. He doesn't seem to realize or care that pelvic fractures can be fatal, and that the bone broken in his leg, one that holds up his body all by its little lonesome could never heal, die, or just leave him a cripple for the rest of his life. His leg socket was damaged enough that he will need a replacement for sure, and could have crippling arthritis there from now on. He's staying with his sister and her husband, and I'm sure driving them crazy by refusing to do anything to help his recovery.

A social worker came out and thought his surly attitude might be a result of head injuries that were not diagnosed, but his sister informed her that this is his normal personality. Actually, that was pretty funny. Not much I can do about any of that.

The real worry on my mind is my Brother-in-Law and my sister. They've been renting a house with a crazy psycho man for a neighbor (which I advised them to NOT rent in the first place for that reason). Crazy psycho thinks they are sneaking into his yard at night and stealing his gold coins that he buries in his yard, and his pot plants. Both are figments of his imagination, but he can't figure that out. It seems he's been calling the police on them all this time, but the cops know he's a nut. Oh yes, he also thinks Princess, their dog, has satan inside, because all dogs that color do in Crazytown. :S

Crazy psycho I guess comes out every morning and bangs on the BIL's car windows and screams threats at him every time he tries to leave for work cause he thinks they are stealing his stuff. This last time got bad enough with Crazynut screaming death threats that BIL, always a peacemaker and one to let stuff go, finally called the cops, also fearing this guy might start doing this to his wife or worse. Of curse it's all a big hassle, and they find the cops have tons of complaints filed on them by this guy.

They leave on a weekend trip, and CrazyPsycho gets spotted by GoodNeighbor stealing my sister's mail, and attempting to break into their house. Goodneighbor calls cops, and CrazyPsycho goes psycho on them and gets locked up for a couple days, but not long enough.

My sister started adding things up, and thinking about all of the times lately Princess has been lethargic to violently ill....symptoms that mirror rat poisoning. And the fact that since they moved there the dog has been acting desperate to escape the house when they leave her alone when they are at work. Has this guy gotten into their house before? They've found his footprints all around the house before and he's taken stuff from their yard. Has he been in their house?

So now she's afraid to go out to walk the dog, leave the dog alone, sleep in the house, which had been the perfect setup, in an otherwise nice neighborhood next to friends and within walking distance to work, weather permitting. And I can see why they are pissed, why should they be driven from their home by one crazy evil man? What can they do about it though?

psycho, crazy man, scary, bad neighbor
