I did a kind thing today. I kept Psychobitch from being suspended for her own idiotic mistake.
Dummy gave a customer back an extra fifty dollars, and then cheerily says to me, "What are you going to do about it?" Like I can fix it--haaa. I told her she could get out her wallet if she didn't want to get in trouble since she was $20 over yesterday. I was being snarky, I didn't think she'd do it. She was up for either suspenion or termination. Anyway, the Redhead counted her drawer and she was short fifty bucks, and I had him do it cause she's accused me of making her drawer off on purpose before. The Redhead and I let her put fifty of her own money in to cover the shortage. I know Jabba wouldn't have let her do it, she won't even let me add a penny to make mine come out perfect (on the rare time it is not). I wasn't sure if it was okay, but she gave out the store's money, so if she wanted to make it up, it seemed fair.
Anyway, not all cow-irkers were happy with me letting her know how bad things were and letting her put in money to cover it.
It poured rain for most of the day and now the lakeshore has gale warnings. It's quite windy here and a transformer blew and brought power lines down in front of the store just before close. The police were parked in front of our store for a long time while traffic went through our lot around the power line. Thank goodness we still had power, or I'd be there still for hours.
