dynamics of family
My shower was today, and it turned out pretty all right I'd have to say. Lauren and Alyce were there so I got to hang out with them for a while, it's nice hanging out with some chicks for a change. I love my guy friends but it's fun to be really girly for a while. It was great relishing in the thought of teague and I getting married but it was a long day. It started at the shower, then I had to order my flowers, came home and Teague had put the couch all together. We have a futon bed (that's REALLY comfy) but we can't really assemble it with enough room left over in the bedroom so we're using it in it's couch position and sleeping on something else in the room. We've been putting it off because it was a lot of work but he wanted to surprise me and do it for me while I was at my shower. I really appreciated it too, because I was NOT looking forward to all that hassle. He also showed me the ring he's getting me. :) It's gorgeous and way more than I expected. I can't wait till we can wear them. :) But anyways I got off topic... oh yeah, we then went to his grandma's house to have dinner with his dad and grandma (and kaegen since their mom is out of town for the weekend). Today was all about wedding stuff so I'm just a bit worn out. It was all good conversation and everything but I'm ready to go to bed.
