(no subject)
I need to get a copy of that "I AM MAN" song from the Burger King ads. It occurs to me that it's not very manly to be planting knockout roses...and that can't make me look very buff in the eyes of the four women next door.
And have you ever planted a rose? What an ass! You can't pull them out of the pot like other plants, because of the freaking thorns. Thankfully, I always carry a Black Lightning on my right hip, so I just slice the pot around it, but still. Damn.
So far, I've spent a thousand on landscaping. Not to mention a lot of time. I'm really not looking forward to going out front though, where I'll be tearing out the drive and putting in a wider one. I just have to remember to check zoning regulations though; I plan to make it so there's not really a curb at the foot of it, so I can zip out of my drive at 35mph without scraping...yeah...THAT would be manly. You know cops would love it, too.
