Hol-y Crows
I think I've started this post at least twice. This makes my final attempt.
We had some snow over the weekend. The sun is out today and it's slowly melting. Not fast enough, in my book. I really love the snow, to see it falling and that's about it. I'm grateful for the fact that I didn't loose power because there was some ice mingled in with the snow.
I stayed in yesterday. I am going to try to go to the store a little later and pick up my medications.
I did get my peircing. I'm really happy with it and also grateful that I got a couple extra days before I show anyone. I didn't tell anyone I was planning on getting it done but my mom because she's always wanted me to "buck the system" with her. She's tattooed all over with peircings but I think I'm the first one in the family to get my face done. I even let her tell my grandpa. She enjoyed it.
I missed church services this morning because I was concerned about the ice and snow. Nevermind the snow on my car. I just got off the phone with a friend who said he would have come to get me but I didn't think of that. Besides, I wanted Bessie to go with me. We went out and bought ornaments the other day in preparation for the ornament exchange today. They still had the exchange.
I'm going to get my vacation week for Christmas. I'm off that whole week and my friend Eddie (silent157) is thinking about coming to NC from NYC for a few days and taking a drive to SC. I have family in SC so I hope we make it. If nothing else, he can be here. I was in his town a couple of years ago around this time. I miss the city.
