[The feed shows a single glass covered red eye before pulling away to a spectacled man's face. His face is pulled into a calm, inquisitive, and slightly puzzled expression.
He looks around for a moment.]
Well then, this is certainly not a place I expected to wake up to.
[Seriously, where was his bed

No one ever expected to wake up here, Jade. So you better get used to it, since you're probably not leaving here any time soon.
[Grumbling...he's putting his coat on and getting read to go get old man Jade out of the snow.]

[Not really put off by the long hair and that attitude was unsettlingly familiar.]

We've got a war to stop and I've kept Master Van waiting long enough, I think.

Ignoring that stuff about...Animus, whatever those are.
A war to stop. The war had already been stopped.
"I've kept Master Van waiting long enough"? That familiar obsessive talk of his corrupt Master. Besides, Van was already defeated.
The Colonel actually looks confused.]
Run that by me again? At risk of sounding naive, exactly what war are we speaking of?

[He raises an eyebrow and crosses his arms in front of him. Jade's really acting weird right now. How the hell is he not remembering something as important as this?]
How could you forget something like that?
Reply
No, first, gather as much information on his situation as he can. Where is he? How did he get here? And what the Hell is wrong with Luke?]
No, just forget it.
[He pushes up his glasses.]
Since I have no idea where I am and you've been here for a long enough time to figure things out, could you escort this "senile" old man out of the snow?
I'm by some sort of fountain with no running water.

Whatever.
[He's got his coat on and he's slipping on his boots as he continues to talk to Jade, though the camera is now at a strange angle seeing that he had to put the PCD down in order to get his boots on.]
Yeah, yeah, I'll come get you. Just give me a minute.
You've got your spear on you still, right? There's a lot of monsters out there, so you better keep your eyes open until I get there.
Reply
Well well, are you worried about me, Luke? I'm touched.
[He smiles.]
I'll be right here waiting for you.

[HE IS FOREVER SCOWLING.]
Try not to freeze to death before I get there, 'kay?
Reply
I'll try my hardest.
[Just chills right there--no pun intended.]
[[ooc: we can do action logs here, right? If not, I'm totally up for a log!]]

[He turns his PCD off and stuffs it into his pocket before heading outside and toward Jade's location. It takes him a little while, due to Luke constantly slipping on ice, but he gets to the fountain eventually and it doesn't seem like his mood has lightened up during his walk.]
I'm guessing you've probably got questions about this place, right?
Reply
Plenty. I'm sure you'll be sick of them by the time I'm through.

[Luke doesn't even wait for Jade to start following him as he turns around and starts walking back to Solve, arms above his head and hands tucked behind his neck as he begins to walk away.]
You've got time before we get back, so you can start asking now and maybe I won't get bored the whole way home.

It was mentioned that different time periods were meshed and crammed together just like the dimensions. It's possible that Luke could be from the past. Though time-space continuums weren't something he studied regularly. That wasn't exactly in his field of research, though it looks like somethings that could very well be added to it.
That would definitely complicate things between them. Not that Jade wasn't already proficient in being secretive, but things that used to be common knowledge between them is now only one-sided and this Luke was, well, if he had to pick between the present and past Luke, he wouldn't even have to think.]Well, I've already heard about how this place is a pool of dimensions crushed together in some strange way meshing different times and space. Which, in itself, is rather convoluted ( ... )

It can get pretty rough out here, especially with all the events...
[And then he hears Jade's last comment and he looks back to the other man with his usual half flailing glare.]
I can take care of myself just fine!

[With the way Luke is now, telling him of what happened would devastate him beyond reason. He remembers how unstable he was when controlling his hyperresonance, he doesn't want an incident to happen here.
He ignores the flailing shout.]
So do you understand anything of the situation we're in now? If you're not going to think about it, someone needs to.
