Today's Writing Effort I spent a LOT of time outside today. First, after all my regular chores, I helped James do animal chores. Normally, Thursday is Jenny's day to do animal chores, but she had a thing in town to do. Then, when we were done, I started cleaning the rabbitry. It took probably three hours, and I was racing the sunset. I didn't quite make it in before dark, but it was pretty close.
Then I cleaned up my mess, tended the fire and turned on the heat and got wood set up for tomorrow morning. While I was still downstairs, folks showed up for AJ's birthday dinner. It was Kody, AJ, Ben, and AJ's friends John and Everett. Ben brought the garden statue that Christy Ann gave to James and put it on the deck. Sometime when he was bringing it in, or when folks were showing up or when AJ put it on the deck, Apollo got outside after dark. It's a good thing that there are no Vampires in our neighborhood.
He finally came in after all the guests had left and after Jenny and Sappho had gone to bed. He knew that he was in trouble, so he went to hid up in James' room to escape my cuddle/wrath.
I had to take another shower after cleaning the rabbitry so that I didn't smell like a barnyard in front of company, and since my clothes stank too, I just did all my laundry since I was going to have to do it tomorrow anyway.
