Today's Writing Effort

Today was grocery day, and I was supposed to pick up cat food for my hungry little predators, but I forgot. Thankfully, they've got enough for a couple of days and I can get to the store tomorrow. I may also go to Joann's to get some cotton yarn to make some Thanksgiving (or Yule) placemats and hot pads for when we host the feast. James doesn't think it's a good idea to add another thing to my plate when I'm trying to do NaNoWriMo again, but I think I can do it. And besides, I have crocheted anything in almost a month and I'm itching to get my hooks out again. I think I let myself get intimidated by the new patterns I wanted to try for some Amigurumi, but if I can get something simple done, then it might clear out the muddle I find myself in at the moment.

We also did a bunny harvest and census and while we only harvested one rabbit today, we got a lot done on the census. It's important to do that when we have a harvest to make sure that we're keeping up on our records.
