One Thing After Another

Today's Writing Effort

I had to get all of my morning chores done early so that I could go to Novus Glass to get the windshield in the truck replaced. At least I got some work done on my new crochet project while I was there. I am making the Cora Throw Blanket in Ocean and Gold for my dear husband. It will match the wallpaper in his bedroom. I like it when I have a crochet project to work on while I wait at some appointment or other. I managed to get Jenny's Subaru scheduled for a windshield replacement as well while I was there.

After they were done, I stopped at the Les Schwab to see about tires for all three of the vehicles. I also went by Blue Ribbon Auto to see about getting the truck bed covering replaced. It won't be as expensive as I was led to believe, though the "lifetime warranty" apparently doesn't cover bears or other natural events. *Le Sigh*

Then I checked up at Specticca Optical with a quick call to check on the repairs to my regular set of glasses. Though with as many times as they've gotten broken (three so far), I should make them my backups, if only so they don't get broken so often.

I really needed my massage with Mariah today. It was the only time that I wasn't expected to get something or other done. I just had to be still for ninety minutes. And after that, I got something to eat at Ruby's Cafe because I was famished.

As much as I wished that I could go home right after that, I still had to go by PetSmart to pick up a large dog crate for Theodore on Jenny's request and I had to get my Prednisone refill at the Eastgate Osco Pharmacy and some groceries at the Albertson's that houses the pharmacy.

Then I got to go home.

But as soon as I got home, I had to help James find his wallet, which took about an hour. And I started his wash since I had to check all of his pockets anyway. And I didn't want to have to do it tomorrow either. Best to get it done and out of the way. I didn't get it finished until late, but I have some mild insomnia anyway, so as long as I wasn't disturbing James, then all was well. I did find his wallet for him too.
