Covid Can't Keep Us Down

Today's Writing Effort

I got up this morning and fed the cats. Then I went back to sleep for a little bit. When I got up again, I took care of the outside animals before I got ready for my day.

I did more picture replacement for my LJ after I did my morning chores, including some weed decimation in the garden area.

maxheadwidth had an appointment in town in the afternoon, and so I met him at the Cricketry after he was done with that. We were there from 7:01pm-8:49pm and we got all of the adult sized bins washed. There were a lot of them. We didn't need to do the incubation bins because there were a ton of clean ones already, so we can do them next weekend. But I didn't get the pinheads collected, so I have to go back tomorrow and do that on my own. *Le Sigh* I also had to drive the truck into the Cricketry because James had borrowed my car for his appointment. I didn't mind that since we switched back for the drive home. He went to see Jenny and her family at their hotel anyway, after we were done.

There was something nice at the Cricketry though. I have a particular shirt that I like to wear there because it is super light and I don't care if it gets dirty or splashed with bleach water. While I was changing my shirt, James came up behind me and hugged me as if I was irresistible. That was wonderfully gratifying to my ego. I had been kind of lonely since Sappho was born and the Stay At Home order was given because of Covid-19. I can't even see oldfellowbunyip either. Though we've sort of fallen out of touch. I am always super busy, and he's been dealing with some non-Covid related health issues that keep his mind elsewhere it seems. So it has been really nice that the last couple of days, James has been a lot more available for, and enthusiastic about, affectionate interactions with me.

At the end of the day, I slept in my room with the cats.
