Weird Dreams Of Witches

Today's Writing Effort

I noticed when I went to let the chickens out and water all the animals, that the bunnies were out in the main yard, all of them, including the babies. I wasn't sure if this was deliberate, though someone moved one of the food dishes, so I'm thinking that it was. I just don't know why. I didn't bother to try to relocate them, because it was early and as long as they weren't out there in the wide world, I didn't think it mattered much where they were located.

When I was done, I went back to bed because I hadn't really gotten any sleep the night before. Justin (the Contractor), his wife Brandy, and their two kids and two dogs, got in around 4:00am and took some time to get set up down in the main room on the ground floor, but the light from the foyer kept waking me up. I got up to turn it off a couple of times. Finally they were done and settled in for the rest of the night, but they left the damned light on and finally I got to turn it off and it stayed off. But it was not a very restful night.

Plus I had a weird dream about a college campus with seven good Witch Covens that were looking for a secret eighth coven that was killing folks.

When I finally got up, I got ready for my day and had breakfast and got to read for a little bit and sort my email from the last few days. That took a while.

I took maxheadwidth into town in the afternoon so that he could go to the gym and then to the office for some work there and I did some errands. I had to get my Biolife money out of the ATM and put it in my bank account, but I had noticed that I had a fee for basically a "bounced check" for my student loans. The bank covered the charge, but then charged me a fee for that service. Since that had never happened to me before, the nice teller took off the charge for me. I still didn't have enough to pay my phone bill, but at least I could pay about half and I will have the rest by Friday. Being poor sucks ass.

After the bank, I got something at the grocers and picked up Ethan from school and went home. I had a little time at home to work on my computer and then I picked up James at his office. One of the best things about today was that I had a couple of lovely conversations with James. One over the phone, and one in the car. He's been really fatigued lately and he wanted to let me know that he loves me and is really committed to our relationship. Sometimes it's really nice to hear that sort of thing, even when your partner is obviously sick or fatigued instead of just disinterested.

At home, we had dinner and I did the dishes and I got to talk to Dan on the phone. That was the second highlight of my day. I always like hearing his voice and tomorrow I'm going to get to spend some time with him. Yay! :)
