Cleaning All The Live Long Day
Today's Writing Effort
After getting up to take care of the cats, chickens, and bunnies, I went back to sleep and because Bastion and Ethan didn't have school today, I didn't have to worry about picking anyone up from school. I slipped back into bed with maxheadwidth and slept as long as I needed to and it felt good.
Once I was up, I got ready for my day and had breakfast and then I did some work on my computer. I left for a while so that James could have a work meeting over the phone and I spent the time downstairs doing laundry and reading and hanging out with Ethan. Bastion spent most of the day in his room.
Zach and Aaron (Contractors) got a lot of work done in the library and that makes me happy. There is also some progress being made on James' room too, like the carpet being all torn out. That is a huge thing.
I got two loads of laundry and two loads of dishes done today and that was about it. I probably could have gotten more done, but that would have required more hustle than I think I have in me right now. I still have to make sure I get my tax stuff from both places I worked last year, though I'm not sure they have my correct address, and if they don't, then I need to get that corrected. I also need to go back to the job service and re-do my typing and ten-key tests for my next round of job hunting. Oh joy.
But today I just cleaned things. And that was enough for me.
And, Ethan has been taking care of the bunnies and chickens at night and Bastion has been giving Yuno her evening medicine, so that's been a bit of a load off, though I do have to remind them to do these things, sometimes a couple of times, especially if they're playing video games.
I got to talk to Dan on the phone this evening and that lifted my spirits quite a bit. And James came to say goodnight before he went to bed. That meant a lot to me.
When I went to bed, the Contractors were still working on the library, but at least they were pretty quiet about it. Zach wanted to get as much done as he could before Justin showed up. The last time I talked to Zach, he told me that Justin was in Butte, and that meant that he would arrive sometime in the night if he kept going or in the morning if they stopped for the night. Personally, I hope they kept going so that they could get here as soon as possible.
