Today's Writing Effort
*Belated Posting.*
After taking care of the cats and bunnies and chickens for the morning, I wanted to go back to bed, but I was determined to get some stuff done so that I could go see Dan after my Biolife donation. What I really wanted to get done was sweeping and mopping the floors, but that didn't happen. I don't know how my morning got so derailed except that I've been exhausted lately. I was an hour later to Biolife than I wanted to be and that meant one less hour that I could have spent with Dan. :( But I did wear my witch costume today to my donation so that I could show it to Dan afterwards.
After my donation, I went to Dan's and we had wonderful Snuggle time with talking and kissing and all manner of pleasurable activities. And he fed me chili. It was really, really good.
I left because I had to pick Ethan up from school and we stopped at the Eastgate Albertsons on the way home. Once at home, I had a small amount of down time before I had to take AJ to work. After I dropped him off I went straight home. When I got home, it was time for dinner because we were all going to go to Mariah's place to take the kids trick-or-treating. I was trying to get the dishes done, but had to stop to go put my costume back on. I had taken in off because I had forgotten about trick-or-treating.
So we went there and tromped around her neighborhood for a while. James and I collected some candy for AJ since he had to be at work. When we were done, there was some time spent at Mariah's house before everyone departed. Bastion, maxheadwidth and Jenny all went in one car because Jenny wanted to show off her costume to her co-workers. I took Ethan home.
Then I finally got some time to just chill out until it was time to go pick up AJ from work. They didn't keep him too long, but long enough that I went into the store to get him. When we got home, I brushed my teeth and went upstairs to go to sleep with James. He was downstairs spending time with Jenny and I just couldn't wait for him. I was too tired. Plus, Jenny had asked if I could take the boys to school the next morning, so I wanted to try to get as much sleep as possible. I turned the lights down as low as they would go via the dimmer switch and then I said my prayers and tried to go to sleep.
I did notice when James came in to go to bed, but I didn't get out or say more than "Hi" before I went back to actively trying to go to sleep. But I did enjoy cuddling next to him as I drifted away.
