Today's Writing Effort
Venus let me sleep in until 7:00am today. Yay! Then I took care of the bunnies and chickens and gave Yuno the last dose of her medication and I went back to bed for a little bit. When I got up I finished my laundry and got ready for my day.
I went into town to see Dan for a while. There was less talking up front and much more kissing. I approve of this. I like kissing. A lot. Then we had Snuggles for a while and both of us ended up very satisfied and happy. Then we watched a little TV and made out some more. maxheadwidth called me while we were watching TV and asked if I could pick up Ethan from school. I might have stayed longer if I hadn't gotten that call, but it was okay.
So I picked up Ethan from school and went by Mariah's house to get his things. Then we stopped at the store so I could get bread and cheese for grilled cheese sandwiches, and we went home. Jenny and James had gotten back from Bozeman while I was in town, but there wasn't a lot of time for happy reunions. Jenny made dinner, but it was just her and Ethan and I. James had to go pick up AJ from school because he had an after school thing he had to do and he couldn't take the bus home.
Eventually, they came home and we each did our own thing for a while until around 6:00pm I thought that I was going to be going to Ethan's choir concert with James, but I must not have communicated that clearly enough because they left without me. So I drove out there separately and made it just in time. James came to meet me at the front doors so that I could find out where they were having the performance. It was a toss up earlier because Bastion was having an orchestra concert at the exact same time at a different school. But Kitty and Travis took him so at least he wasn't alone.
After the show, I took Ethan home because James had to have his class over the phone with his teacher Mark and it was easier to do solo. I introduced Ethan to the musical Man Of La Mancha, which is my favorite. Once we were home, he went to put in the bunnies and chickens and I went to do some work on my computer. James was at his class and AJ and Jenny were playing cribbage on her new board.

In the evening, after James had spent some time with Jenny, he and I got to hang out. We talked in the kitchen while he made himself a smoothie and then we went upstairs and talked some more. He's been having some health issues flare up and so even though we wanted to have some intimate time together, we had to table that for when he was feeling better. But it was so nice to get to sleep next to him again.
