wow, amazing entry! i actually couldn't stop reading. your honesty and willingness to examine yourself and everything around you is so encouraging. i personally have a hard time opening myself up and figuring out what's wrong with me. and i am so sure that god has given you this pure sincerity to encourage and testify to people like me! while you guys were at yugo, god really placed you guys on my hearts. every night i got on my knees and prayed for who knows how long for you guys. and i could see clearly that my prayers have been answered.
so keep praying buddy! ask god to continue this fire for him! one thing i learned is that loving god cannot come from ourselves. there is nothing in the world that we could do to force ourselves to love god. all you can do is pray and god will give the strength and direction to love him! it's definitely not easy (taken from personal experience) but as you said, god is so big and so amazing! with his strength all things are possible.
and man, i know for certain that god will use you in every way possible to build his kingdom! i love you so much jacqueline!
