Well as many of you know we've been busy with kittens here for the last 3 months or so and have had a pregnant cat before that who needed a lot of attention from us... The kittens are growing like weeds, a minimum of 11g's gained over night all round! At this rate they'll be huge in no time and able to join in the fun round here... :)

Well don't worry if I drop off the face of the internet for a bit over the next few weeks as my female Aby (Isis) is due to have her first litter of kittens this coming Saturday! She could easily be a few days early or a few days late, but for now she needs my undivided attention ( Read more... )

Well I've just about got everything I'll need in when the kittens arrive and have ordered in the last main things that aren't time sensitive unlike kitten formula, which I can get very close to the due date from our vet. The only thing I still have to order are some medical grade cleaning wipes so I can keep the kittens area pretty much sterile ( Read more... )

So Isis has mated with GC Silversmoke Dan Dare a number of times and we got to collect her on Saturday just before lunchtime! :) She's now home with us and the other cats here and I have to wait for just over 2 more weeks to be able to tell if she's pregnant. Here's a few photos of our new addition to the family. She's gorgeous as I hope you can see from the few photos I've manage to take so far (I've been too busy fussing her to take more...) ;)

All the cats are settling in nicely together and have even started to play and eat together without a fuss already. Not bad for less than 2 days! :)
