A traumatic night...
Well it seems Ramses has a version of the cold that's affecting Isis, but in him it's triggered cat asthma. Which I can promise you looks way too much like your cat is choking to death for my liking! :( Due to this fact I found myself on the phone to the emergency vet at 3am followed by a mad drive cross half of Buckinghamshire (or so it seemed) to get him to see her to be sure of the cause of his respiratory distress. A thorough check up and two shots later I was back on my way home with a quieter, much less stressed out and panicky Ramses! :)
Now off to take a long bath while keeping both Isis and Ramses in the bathroom with me to breath in the steamy air on vets orders. Back to the vets with Ramses tomorrow after school and we'll see how much this has all cost me and how she thinks he's doing now... Please gods don't let Tigmut'hep get this cold too!
