Assaulted...
As it it's not bad enough for my baby brother to have been born both mentally and physically handicapped, but yesterday some lads decided to assault him using metal pipes to hit him with... He was taken to hospital once he was found and thanks to someone witnessing part of the beating he took, one of these lads has already been arrested by the police. Following a check up at the hospital Jay's been sent home to rest and see how he is once some of the initial swelling has gone down. For now it looks like he has a few cracked ribs, some damage to his back and maybe some broken bones in his hands from trying to defend himself and cover his face and neck from the blows...
Yes Jay's big and tall and looks and acts a little *different*, but he's peaceful and kind... He'd never hit someone without them hitting him first and he'd certainly never attack someone on their own with a bunch of his mates! I really hope this lads get all that's coming to them as they are all local and if something's not done then Jay'll never be safe going out and about around his local neighbourhood again...
I just don't understand why people do these sort of things, it really is beyond me to comprehend the sort of psyche they must have, let alone the moral values... :(
