Never felt so right...
So I know I was only in Biloxi for a couple of days, but as I sit here snowed-in in Seymour, not having even had a tour the three days I was back at work, I'm starting to get really homesick for the Gulf Coast. It felt so familiar to me while I was down there, way more comfortable than a place I'd never been before should.
Biloxi is right for me. It's where I want to be. And I don't just mean for six weeks. It's within a day's drive of Dallas, Memphis, Nashville, and Seymour, and all the while is right there on the beach. It's a great place to bike, and I really feel like it'll be a great place to train for my cross-state adventure. It's scattered with casinos, operated by some of the most major casino groups, and only an hour away from two major cities.
If it weren't for the monster trucks, I'd leave tomorrow.
But for now, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!
