1. Homestuck. An awesome, awesome webcomic that starts as a silly parody of text adventures/the Sims. And then the meteors fall and shit gets real. It's unbelievably epic for a comic that starts off as little more than stick figures, and it has animation and an awesome soundtrack (The Midnight Crew are the best) and it is hilarious and amazing ( Read more... )

I thought I wasn't going this summer. Now I have a three-day pass and have roped in my roommate with Patrick Stewart. Am currently haranguing her into making a costume. (And I am deciding whether to throw together a Max costume along with the Question and the Spirit...)

So I spent half an hour searching for my camera to go to the con and IT BROKE OUT OF FRIGGIN' NOWHERE WHEN I GOT THERE. Conventions hate my cameras, seriously. Luckily, I now have a cellphone camera!

So, I was poking around Cosplay.com the other day, and I decided to search for Psycho Mantis. I found another awesome Mantis who was apparently at Otakon, along with the Mantis that I posted a picture of.

So, yesterday, I was wandering around and someone recognized my Psycho Mantis doll. I try to show it to her, I drop my camera. With some fiddling, it works fine.

Today, I find an old Ocelot and take a picture of him with the Mantis doll:
