I don't understand why I have to bust my ass in college, while Nick Cave can just sidestep the entire educational system and still get an honorary Doctor of Laws without first getting a honorary BA and honorary Masters. What was his honorary dissertation on? And why a Doctor of Laws? Shouldn't that be Doctor of Breaking Laws? Great mysteries for us all.
I, meanwhile, am so stressed about the rumors of a North American tour that have been floating around. It must happen. I will start waiting outside the Bowery Ballroom TOMORROW if this shit gets confirmed. I will definately also cry. Like a tiny, tiny baby. I will also, of course, spend all the money I've been saving for a GRE course on the tickets to this notional show.
