Merry Christmas, suckas.

Maybe it's a big family thing, maybe its just a my family thing, who knows? Maybe it's just me. But other people seem to spend a ton on Christmas stuff, compared to the Gunst boys. No doubt the four of us are froogle, that's a proven point. ***Anecdote: My cousin worked the camp store at the summer camp we went to, and as the session was wrapping up he announced that there were 3 campers in a camp of 200 who hadn't spent any money at the camp store. They were Jim, John, and Jake Gunst. This wasn't planned or anything, we just like saving money.*** My dad spends alot on Christmas, and relatives are always generous, but theres an unwritten rule between us that $10 bucks is the limit when it comes to gifts. Money is tight for me this year, with court fees, and the loss of car, so here's the layout for how I spent my holiday money:

Dad: $7.50 (from circuit city giftcard he gave me for my birthday)
laser pointer/LED pen

Mom: Free with purchase of head massager
Back Massager

Jim: $8.75
Head massager after haggling with salesmen and splitting cost with John

John: $7.50
Hot Shots DVD (used from Plan 9)

Joe: ...purchase pending

Comment assignment: Because finance is a personal topic, you don't hafta post how generous you are with siblings or parents, but feel free to critique how cheap or how reasonable you think I am with my brothers.
