To the City and Back!... for work...

Aug 12, 2006 01:34

Today I got up around 9-ish and decided not to rush cuz I didn't have to be at work until 1. So, I read my trian timetable and decided on a 12:00 train. (Little did i know I was reading an old schedule and the train would not be coming until 12:38; which would make me even later for work.) Still thinking the train was arriving at Noon, I park in the only spot I could find (Which was still considerably far from the ticket booth) at around 11:55, and make a mad dash (and I mean MAD like Mel Gibson in a Synagogue) to buy my tickets and head for the stairs to where the train comes. So, it's 12:05, and I think something is wrong. so I look around and finally discover my mistake, "Ah, out of date schedules are the bane of my existence," I say to myself. So, I walk back up the stairs and see Pat Walsh. I haven't spoken to Pat in... wow... has it been almost a year already? Yeah. Crazy. He was on his way to the city too, for an acting class. Pat Walsh, an actor? It HAS been a while.... SO we decide to sit next to eachother on the train and make small talk for a while, but halfway through there is nothing left to say, so I continue to read "Without You." I seriously LOVE this book and highly suggest it to any RENT/Anthony Rapp fan or anybody who just wants to read one man's powerful story. The train pulls into Penn Station at around 1:40 (Late, as usual. Fucking LIRR). Pat and I make our way through the hustle and bustle and depart ways as he gets on the 1 train downtown to the village for his class, and I go upstairs into the warm late summer afternoon for my day of work, handing out Wedding Singer flyers to hopeless tourists lost in the heart of the greatest city in the world.

After taking the express 5:40 train out of Penn station home, I arrived at Wantagh Station at 6:47, 20 minutes later than the 6:27 scheduled arrival time (Once again, Fucking LIRR). I went home, made pasta and sauce, which was delicious, and sat here at the computer just doin' my thing... nothing lol.

Last Call with Carson Daly is on now... it's gotten funnier, believe it or not, and I really wanna host a Late Night talk show one day. Maybe it'll happen? Who knows what the future will bring. I gotta get through The Hof first... No... not David Hasselhoff...

Well, that's it for me tonight. Peace, kids.

IN THE NEWS: Paris Hilton announces she will refute sex for a year.... meanwhile, I win the nobel prize for sexiest man alive.
