Summary: Jackson and Ashley were childhood sweethearts until Jackson Family moved away. Now they are all grown up and friends of Kellan Lutz. When Ashley happens upon Jackson in Beatiful People, Jackson and Ashley revisit their memories of their first love while Kellan tries to reunite these two.
Kellan already is good friends of Ashley and Jackson. He once went out on 1 date with Ashley but they realized that they were better off just as friends. He then wants to hook Ashley up with Jackson. But before he tells them to hook up, Ashley sees Jackson on Beautiful People while watching it with her roommate.
“Ashley,” her roommate calls, “Hurry! It’s almost on!”
“I’m here,” Ashley responds, “Did it start yet?”
“Just.”
While they are watching, they come across a character named Nicholas Fiske.
“OMG. He’s soo cute,” Ashley says, “Who’s he played by because the guy is just too cute.”
“You like him, don’t you?” her friend says
“Well, duh!”
“Let me see. Www dot imdb dot com, beautiful people, hmm. Aha! Jackson Rathbone. Hey, he is good looking!! He was born on the 21st like you Ash! But he’s the 21st of December from 1984. And he was born is Singapore.”
“But he’s mine,” Ashley said, “I called him, ok!!”
“Ok, ok, you can have him. Nice catch too.”
“Thank you. I hope I can get him. I mean, I’m going into the acting business so it shouldn’t be that hard!”
“You go girl”
“Do you think he would like me?”
“Girl, what person in their right mind wouldn’t like you?”
“I guess you’re right.”
“Course I’m right”
“He looks like that boy named Jackson from Disney 411”
“Maybe it is!!! They look alike, and they have they same name! It’s gotta be the same person.”
“I used to know a boy named Monroe Rathbone. He was my first kiss back was I was five years old. He was seven at the time. You think they are related?”
“Maybe. You never know these days. But it wouldn’t it be weird if you started dating his cousin or something”
“Yeah, It would. Oh well!”
Meanwhile, in another part of Los Angeles, Jackson Rathbone was sitting down to watch Beautiful People with his roommates, whom he’s know since high school. Just as the first commercial break starts, the calls start rolling in. First comes his family to tell him congrats. Next caller is his friend, Kellan, who tries to mess around with his head. Here is how that conversation goes. The phone rings and Jackson answers without caring who it is.
“Hello?”
“Monroe Rathbone, what am I gonna do with you?”
“Kellan? What did I do?”
“You did extraordinarily good. So good in fact that I think you would get in trouble for it!”
“Really?”
“Hell yeah! Oh, wait, I have another call. Talk to you later.”
“Who is it?”
“My best friend, Ashley Greene. Probably calling to tell me about her latest crush on you.”
“Tell her I said hi!”
“She’ll probably freak.”
“Wait, did u say Ashley Greene?”
“Yeah”
“How old is she?”
“About 2 years younger than us”
“Huh. You know, I used to know a girl named Ashley. She was my first kiss back when I was seven. She was five back then.”
“I know that. You never stopped talking about her when we first met”
“Oh, right.”
“I really need to talk to her now. Talk to you later bro.
“See ya, Kellan.”
Jackson hangs up while Kellan calls Ashley back.
“Hey, Ash! Sorry to keep u waiting! I was on the other line with Jay congratulating him on his show!” he says
“You know Jackson Rathbone?!?!” Ashley Responds
“Yeah, I’ve known him since 4th grade or something! Just before he moved to Texas.”
“Oh my goodness!! What a coincidence that is cause I just started crushing on him like a few minutes ago.”
“I told him that you were calling to say that but he just kept talking about this girl from when he was 7 that he had his first kiss with and he thinks that it’s you because you fit the description perfectly!”
“Huh. How old is he?”
“About my age, give or take a few months.”
“Interesting. Is he related to a Monroe Rathbone? ‘Cause he was my first when I was five. He was seven at the time. And was best buddies with my brother, Joe.”
Hearing this, Kellan knows that Ashley was Jackson’s first kiss and vice versa.
“More closely than you think Ash!”
“Really? Could you set me up on a date with him Kellan? Please?”
“I don’t know but I can try. How about I talk to you later Ash.”
“Okay, talk to you later Kells!”
“Good Night, Ashley”
They hung up. Kellan was thinking about how his two best friends had had their first kiss together. Weird. And they didn’t even know it! Even stranger. If they got back together, could they rekindle that childhood love that they had?
While Kellan was left pondering it, Jackson and Ashley reminisced back to their first kiss. Back to when they met, their childhood love, Joe’s teasing, and other things. And Jackson thinks back to the time his family moved there. He hated that he had to move everywhere and leave tons of friends behind just as he made them. How he wondered why they had to come to this town. Little did he know back then the adventures that would ensue and the biggest heartbreak was left to come…
