Um... How Could You Keep This Masterpiece From ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean this is utterly perfect!!! And I don't think that Madeline was a damsel in distress at all because while she was drugged and in a terrible situation, she wasn't needy or pining for Paul. You captured her resiliency and self-sacrificing nature so well.

I really enjoyed the discombobulated nature of the first section because it captured what it would be like to be drugged and in a strange place.

I so <3 the part where she has killed two men and keeps stopping her own heart.

And Guh! the TR at the end was so good because it was so them and I died from laughter about naming the animals Michael and Nikita.

I mean this fic is so very awesome, and I'm probably going to reread it again as soon as I get done commenting.

“You look beautiful,” he says, and she thinks he means it, even if she's bloody and bruised and dirty.

“I can assume you've been drugged as well, then?”

Um... YES!!!!!

Actually, I really like your idea about how you were going to post the story. It is always kind of fun to have a mystery of putting all the pieces together.

I know that you say that this fic isn't complete, but in a way, the fic reads like it is complete. The missing parts seem to fit in with the whole drugged surreal atmosphere of the first part.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this fic is and I would recommend that you put it on the Section One fan fic Comm because it is truly great and I think that others would like it as well!

Well, even with something half-written, you are one HELL of a writer. The drugged part is disorienting, but in a way that makes the scenario perfectly believable, and the ending melts my heart.

What's not to love? *g*

<3 Thank you! :D

I'm telling you what, drugged!Madeline? Incredibly fun to write. Lol. I mean, okay, also really hard to write, but incredibly fun. Poor Madeline, though, she totally got completely screwed over in this story. Lol.

Oh my god, how did I miss this? I looooove it. I didn't find your Madeline OOC at all--in fact, I think you capture her perfectly. I was thinking a lot of "Mandatory Refusal" as I read this (loved the heart-stopping reference) and I could definitely picture her in this, a similar scenario.

The drugged-out parts were very well-written and evocative. And the Paul sections were awesome and funny and heart-breaking all at once. In fact, the entire fic was all of those things. I would really like to see more of this, but I appreciate you sharing what you have! ;)

Thank you so much! It was incredibly, incredibly fun to write, I'll admit, it just... never ended up finished. I couldn't believe all the plot points by the end, and I figured if I couldn't believe them, I could hardly expect anyone else to. Lol. But writing drugged!Madeline was certainly interesting, if only because she doesn't usually--at least in my head--let herself dwell on things unless they have a purpose. She's not about to sit there feeling betrayed by Nikita when she could be figuring out how to twist the situation to her advantage. But drugged... she can dwell a bit more. Lol. Was way fun to write. <3

Thank you again for reading this! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
