Some more info on the type of crap that LJ is implementing.
So if you are wondering why you can't Control click to open a new tab from an LJ link... it's their new crap script.
Links are being redirected through a 3rd party before going to where you think they are. I can not even describe coherently the huge security risk this poses. -

LJ is running a script called dRev.js.
