(no subject)
Next week is finals week. Yay for finals. I'm actually quite surprized at how this semester turned out. I made it through a semester with out ending in the hospital for a LONG period of time. I also came back after being in the hospital. I didn't just skip random classes for work, I made my schedules work around each other. And I didn't choose work over school all the time. All in all I've passed all of my finals for the classes I've had except for the 2 that I have yet to take. Needless to say I am rather pleased with myself.
So far:
Dance: A
Recital Class: A
Piano: B+
Voice: A
Opera Workshop: A
Chorale: dropped b/c of Dance
SSET: Dropped b/c of another class conflict
History: dropped b/c Teacher was going to fail me even with a dr's note.
Yet to take:
Spanish: hopefully at least a C (the evil teacher hated me the new one loves me)
Theory: Hopefully at least a B
Oh... I think I posted something on friday about people making me upset and how i sucked at my jury.. .Well, I got to bellydancing and Judith called me 2ice! I missed both calls. :( However, she called to tell me that all the teachers had agreed that I was the person who had made the most improvement from last time they all saw me. And that everything I thought went wrong, was really just in my imagination and I did sound wonderful. Why do I hear things that aren't happening and think I did so poorly? That's weird I think. Though I am really happy that my voice is coming so well. I'm 24 and in a few years... my voice will have reached it's settling point. At this point. I'm really happy with it. And I think it was the boost I needed to go on to my recital in June. :)
JUNE 17th at 5pm in the Corthell Concert hall! Everyone HAS to come see it!! Unless you live more than 5 hours away.. then I'll understand. ;)
This summer is looking to be shaping up pretty nicely. Lots of work hopefully. And lots of going to Bangor a bit. I'm going to see about working and transferring to Bangor a couple days a week. It would be nice if i could make it work like that. I'll have to see how I'm going to work around my other jobs and schedules.
Everything else is fine on this end. I've been in much better moods since the warm weather has been hitting us. A bit early I'd say. It was 80 out the other day and it's BARELY May! And today looks to be no less different. :) So I am off to enjoy the warm weather!
