Today, I had visit from a friend from KL. He was just passing thru and decided to stop for a chat and some kopi-o! And we started talking about things in general, personal and stuffs like that. This is a guy i met during the APACPA conference in June this year. One of the big shots in this industry but younger than me!!
Nevertheless, me being me, could just relate to him and we became friends!
As of this moment, my mom is feverishly wanting to look for a bride for me. And she wants me to give her my pic which i really dont relish in doing. I dont know about others but i do have some opinion on this match making thing. I dont like to be paraded like a grocery item in one of the TESCO buletins. But that is besides the point here.
I have already fallen in love with another woman. But her mom does not approve of it cause of the damn astrological mismatch stating that either one of us would die among other petty things. And yet my mom, being my mom, wants to find me another woman to please my poor lonely soul!!
Now, what has this gotta do with the guy i met?? His name is Joel by the way. And Joel has a girlfriend who apparently has this Snake Curse (Naga Dosham) thing on her. The snake is very protective of her and would not allow any man to get close to her. Thus creating havoc in their relationships. And Joel, being Joel, is kinda cool about it as he is Christian and does not believe in this stuff. Nevertheless, he is prepared to do some rituals to appease this Snake Curse thingy. Matter solved.
Why the hell cant this happen for me!! Yeah lah, if the girl has a problem, the mother would be glad to give her away if any Tom, Dick or fucking Harry shows some slight interest in her. Else, "oh..no can do. if she dies, your son will marry someone else within 6 months but if your son dies, who will marry my daughter?? oh sob sob!!" Yeah righttttt. Then comes this stupid reason saying taht if anything happens after the marriage, the blame will be on the girl.
Come on lah!! Besides showing that you have faith in God, you have to actually have faith in HIM. No use of doing all kinds of rituals when you are just a fucking hypocrit.
Then what she does, she kinda gives me high hopes that maybe can go see another astrologer and see what can be done!! (Anyway i think the Association of Astrologers have something against me. Probably one of their daughter got snubbed by me i guess). This guy gives a totally different explanation but ends up that the match is not good. This got me fed up to the max but still trying. But she is totally fed up and probably just gave up on everything. Can someone just call her or message her and tell her to hang on? Or just be in contact with her so that at least she is partly connected to me? (hint hint)OH GOD!! I just felt like saying that.
Anyway. I am planning to go talk to her mother. If it works, well and good. Else, will just fire her and get the hell out of her life. I can be as stubborn as a rock. but most of the time i find it very petty to do so. this is one time that i wont find it so.
