I'm not the biggest fan of Daniel Tash, but I do think he's got some funny bits, particularly when he mentions the show Survivor.  Only in America would we create a game show out of people "struggling for survival" in places that people already live, and have lived, and will continue to live

Marilynne Robinson- she's an amazing author but the novel is a bit difficult to get into and completely understand at the end. I read it twice and now I'm in love. Basically to sum it all up(which I hate doing) it's a critical view on how society creates boundaries they believe are impermeable when in actuality they mean nothing.
