Chapter 2`-`-`-`-`-`Chapter 3 `-`-`-`-`-`-
Jaejoong stood next to the area that once was the edge of a pond and stood in shock, looking at the changes the location had taken. It no longer was a small provincial town… of course it wouldn't be, but the fact that there wasn't even a beautiful pond made him realize that he truly had said goodbye to that place the day he'd left it in Yoochun's arms.
Suddenly, he began to feel oppression in his chest that he didn't remember the name to. What would it be called, this feeling again?
He shook his head in denial.
No.
This isn't supposed to happen. He's not supposed to feel this much. Not suppose to know that he's feeling something at all. He should be surrounded by numbness and the only times he should even think that he feels anything should be when Junsu is teasing or annoying him.
Junsu isn't around… this shouldn't be happening.
He quickly traces back to his room and paced his room soon after. The urge to go back to that school was frightening in its own way.
Was it because his maker had in a way told him to go?
But it wasn't a command, therefore he wasn't compelled to follow it.
He grabbed handfuls of his hair and crouched down. He didn't want a mate. He didn't want anyone that wasn't Choikang.
That knowledge didn't stop him though from standing up and tracing to the tree lines he'd been in earlier. It was already evening and all the students and teaching staff had gone home already. Leaving only the cleaning staff to take care of the school's cleaning. He didn't know why he'd come back.
Tentatively, he got closer to the school; a lone figure just walking randomly where his feet carried him. He could see it was a breezy day due to the trees swaying, but couldn't feel it on his skin. Couldn't feel if it was a warm day or a cold one. This thought comforted him. It's quite possible it was some type of abnormality what he was experiencing and that he hadn't found his mate.
Without realizing it, he had stopped walking suddenly. He looked around and saw that this place also had trees, but was much closer to the school than where he and Junsu were stationed earlier. He noticed something near his foot and on pure impulse stooped down to retrieve it. As soon as it was close enough that the breeze didn't take the scent away, Jaejoong was assaulted by the same scent he'd felt earlier, causing him to buckle down on his knees and gasp heavily.
He began to hear this weird rushing sound, slowly at first, until he could literally feel his blood start to slowly flow through his deaden arteries. He shook his head in denial, but couldn’t help his hand from turning the little plastic in his hands over, only to widen his eyes at what he saw.
"Choikang…" He whispered in disbelief just before he felt a painful squeeze in his chest that made him grunt. He dropped the plastic from his hand and dropped to the ground, curling in on himself as cold sweat assailed him and the sharp pain coursing through his body left him paralyzed.
He didn't know how, but one minute he was alone, and the next Yoochun was beside him crouching down and asking him something he couldn't hear through the rushing of his ears and the thudding of his heart. He felt Yoochun gathering him in his arms, knowing he was about to be traced, and on pure instinct quickly grabbed the plastic thing he'd found just a second before he was whisked away to their home.
His body shook as he was laid on the bed and couldn't stop the rush of emotions that threatened to kill him, both physical and emotional. He cried out in despair, convulsing every so often, unable to stay still as fire seemed to run through his veins. Something cold went over his forehead and it seemed to cool the burning flesh there.
"Shh, everything will be alright Jaejoong. This will pass soon, you'll see. Try to relax your muscles; the blood flow should hurt less if your muscles are relaxed." He could hear his maker's voice from afar and it soothed him knowing he was there. He tried to follow his maker's directions and finally felt himself cooling down, a warm feeling encompassing him before he lost consciousness of his surroundings, knowing he was safe with his maker.

Changmin arrived home, tired and hungry. His house was empty, as always, since his father worked later than he did. He went to the kitchen to cook something for his father and himself, taking stock of what they had available, and listed off the things he needed to finish before he went to school tomorrow.
After he ate, he did what he always did every night. He put his backpack on the bed, the books that he'd need there too, and emptied his pockets on the desk so that he could fill them up the next day in the new pair of clothes he'd wear. It was during the cleaning of his pockets that he noticed he didn't see his school ID card anywhere. He rechecked his pant pockets again, a little desperately, and checked his backpack pockets and his sweater pockets.
Freaks! He'd lost his school ID card again. He groaned. He really should learn to keep it in his backpack instead of his back pockets. He hoped someone found it lying about somewhere and returned it to the front office, if not then he'd have to pay the fee for a new one… again.
He sighed. He had no clue where he could've lost it. Oh well. He tiredly went to do his homework. After all, the only reason he'd been allowed into that school was due to his scholarship for outstanding grades, not because of his abundant amount of money.
He laughed out loud. Yeah… sure… his abundant money. If his grandparents ever recognized him as their grandchild, he sure would have abundant money, but he knew that would never happen. His mother had never tried to contact him after leaving and he sometimes still couldn't believe how heartless she could be. He looked around his room, knowing it could have been worst. Much, much worst, so he should be grateful for what he did have. But it was so difficult when he was around so many snobby kids. Even if he didn't want to, their talks about the newest this and the trips there made him wish… but he knew it'd never happen so why imagine a life that was never his.
Still, he was only human and envy of what others had was hard to repress but still manageable. It was something he'd learned from his father, as surprising as that might be, which was to be a better person; someone that cherishes others instead of materialistic things. His mother's blood was still strong though.
He snapped out of those thoughts and proceeded to keep doing his homework. Mind concentrated on numbers and equations only.

He walked along the small meadow near their town after a hard's day of work. It was his time to relax and the natural breeze that the trees provided relaxed his tense muscles. He saw as the colorful flowers sway in the breeze and inhaled deeply, closing his eyes briefly as he let nature surround him. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't hear the silent footfalls of someone coming closer until he was tackled to the ground at the same time someone yelled 'BOO!'
"Ah! What the- what in the world are you doing?" He asked, puzzled as he turned around and stayed beneath the scrawny figure of his cousin.
"Nothing much. You done with work? I finished wayyyy before you you lazy ass." The pale boy teased as he got off and sat next to him.
"You also have less to do brat. Just wait until next year and I'd like to see if you still brag about being done quick." He smirked and saw how his little cousin blushed slightly under his gaze. He found him so adorable sometimes.
"You'll see, I'll beat you then too! And you better remember this day Choikang! I don't want a repeat of this year where you say next year would be worst." The pale boy stuck his tongue out and it made him feel something weird in his chest and stomach. He shook his head with a frown, before smiling again and smacking the boys head.
"Respect your elder mushroom."
"Hey!"
And a wrestling match ensued as the two boys, no older than ten and eleven, played among the grass and flowers in the lonely meadow on a summer's day.
Changmin woke up slowly from his dream with a light and peaceful feeling he hadn't been aware of feeling… ever. He frowned. That had been a strange dream… and totally pointless. Usually, he dreamt of some great adventure or some unresolved thing. He'd never just dreamt of playing in some grassy place with a kid he doesn't even think he's ever met. What's strange is that he didn't even have younger cousins. Maybe he subconsciously wanted one?
He shook his head and realized for the first time that his alarm clock was buzzing and that that was probably why he'd woken up in the first place.
Another day it seemed.

Jaejoong woke up from his unconsciousness feeling as if he'd been re-born again. He looked around and noticed that Junsu was sitting next to his bed with a huge smile on his face.
"About time you woke up! I was starting to think that you were going to be like sleeping beauty and in need of your mate to come wake you with a kiss." Promptly after saying that he started laughing like crazy with his unique laugh.
Jaejoong growled and bared his fangs at the remark, immediately getting surprise at his quick anger. Usually, Junsu had to say more than that to get him to show even a bit of dislike for his presence.
"Woah there. Wow. So… it's true then. You really have found your mate too? Awe! That's totally unfair! I barely found mine five hundred years later and you're barely three hundred and already have yours? What kind of injustice is this?!" Junsu got up and stomped the ground as a petulant child, creating a minor break in the marbled floor due to his uncharacteristic loss of strength control.
"Oops." Junsu said, a little shocked and ashamed.
"Junsu! Was that a crack I heard?" Jimin came in, seemingly out of nowhere.
"Sorry Jimin. Aish, it's as if I've just been recently turned! I can't seem to control my emotions." Junsu said frustrated.
"It'll get better Su. Give it a week. At least, that's how long it took Yoochun I think." Jimin said, tilting her head to the side as she seemingly tried to remember.
"How are you feeling Jaejoong?" Jimin asked gently as she noticed the silent figure of the man on the bed.
Jaejoong struggled to pull himself together. It was more difficult than he'd thought to deal with all the emotions he seemed to not feel centuries ago. The depression and anguish at loosing Choikang made themselves known as well as the recent anger and indignation Junsu's innocent remark had left him with.
The plastic he'd found.
"Jimin, where is the plastic I came with?" He said as he began to search his bed for it. He was quickly becoming frantic with his search and jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Calm down Jaejoong, I placed it in the bedside drawer. Is that the picture of your mate?" She asked gently as she opened the drawer in question and handed him the picture.
Jaejoong's hand shook as he took it and carefully saw the picture again. His heart gave a little stutter at seeing his face again. He was younger than the last time he'd seen him, but the face staring back at him was that of his cousin Choikang.
He saw the lightly tanned skin, the same high cheekbones, the same thin lips with the chapped looking ridges… but there were differences too. The hair was much longer than Choikang had ever worn it, and the eyes were also darker than the light brown eyes of his cousin. The eyes that stared back at him though… they weren't full of life as that of his cousins. Further down he was able to read the name of the person from the photo.
"Shim Changmin…" He whispered.
This was not Choikang. Not who he'd thought he was, and the bitter disappointment of it made his heart ache again.
But what if it was possible? What if maybe Choikang was somewhere in there? Maybe this was a descendant that carried some bits of his soul? Maybe that theory that someone could be reincarnated was possible?
He'd always thought those who believed that fools. After a person left there was no way to bring them back. No way a soul can return to earth in a body that wasn't the original one… but what if?
The hope that it might be Choikang in some way made him want to meet this person. Made him want to know if fate was cruel enough to give him someone that would always remind him of the love he'd lost. Tease him with a vessel that was nothing to the original.
"Jaejoong, are you alright?" Junsu asked in concern as he touched his shoulder.
It was then that Jaejoong was brought back to his thoughts and to the present, along with a decision he hadn't realized he had been making as he thought about it but now knew he'd follow through. He'd meet this person. See if there was any way he's Choikang. If so, he'd find a way to bring Choikang from wherever he's been all these years.
"Yes. I am. So when can we enroll in that school of yours Junsu?" He asked seriously as he turned to him fully, brushing his hand off and getting out of the bed.
Junsu looked surprised and was about to answer when Yoochun entered the room.
"You two aren't going anywhere until I know that you know you can control yourselves. And definitely not before a week. Now, today we'll be retraining you on how to behave as a human. The sooner we start, the sooner you two can face your mates without going psychotic on them. Follow me." Yoochun said smoothly as he walked back out, leaving a puzzled Junsu and a semi fuming Jaejoong. Both couldn't resist following the order though, and soon were out the door and following Yoochun out of the door and into the training room of the mansion with Jimin trailing behind them happily.
Chapter 4
A/N: ^o^/ Hi. Been a while. ^_^ So… the incest fic is turning out longer than I first thought and much harder too. Guess because it doesn't deal with supernatural stuff and real life is hard for me to write, even if it's not real life really. =D But, it's under way and I decided to go ahead and begin the other updates too for the poll following that one. ^_^ AND also because I got another awesome work from Crimson and have loaded it in my masterslist until I figure out a way to put it in my journal background. ^_^ So, as a thank you I've sped up the update for this one. Hope you guys enjoyed it and thanks for reading! (^_^)b
