I think I'll be staying here for now -- for reasons other than the obvious that escape has yet to prove possible.

Here, I have someone for me - someone who fulfills a purpose outside the normal instrumental purposes - and to her, I might just fulfill the same purpose - an emotional purpose.

For once I am truly not alone.
