Hmm. I think this is the saddest drabble I've written so far. I won't say anything now, because I don't want to spoil anything--gasp! A drabble that I could actually spoil!--but I will say this: I left the ending open for reader's interpretation, but if you're curious, as the writer, I imagined the sad ending.
