I thought I was better at this?
Apparently the last time I backed up anything on my laptop was right about 2 years ago. Damn. Considering it blue-screen-of-deathed me last week. Damn damn damn. 2 years of pictures and music, and my most recent resumes. Hopefully it is salvageable, or I am going to be angry at myself and my computer. Damn.
Also, why do online applications suck so much?! They make it nearly impossible to do anything! Do they not realize that 100 characters (about one line of writing on word) is NOTHING?! I'm not trying to write a book, but it's hard to describe your current duties in that few characters! And when my job title doesn't even fit- "Recreation Specialist" doesn't fit on the line. I'm apparently a "Recreation Special." And I like to think that they know the limitations their system imposes on us, but I have heard people at my office go through job applications, and how little they understand about what people are writing down....shit.
I realize it is midnight and I haven't slept long enough for several weeks, but I am wired by frustration right now. And work a 13 hour day tomorrow. I so want to call off. Can't wait til my 4-day weekend next week! I sorely need it!
