Group Presentation: GlobalTech
GlobalTech is a group blog about the current events important in the world, especially those pertinent to the five countries of the five authors, Canada, Pakistan, Costa Rica, China, and the US. I found this group's presentation to be very enlightening. I learned a lot about the issues that face the world today, especially health issues like AIDS and SARS. I was very surprised to find that all the countries had so much in common, especially when it came to something like the AIDS problem. I especially learned a lot about Costa Rica thanks to Esteban. Before the presentation, I had known very little about his country, but now I know all about the country's issues, like the issue with coffee farmers and also the telecommunications problems the US is having with them. About the US, the basic war issues were brought up, as well as Micheal Jackson. Because that's of national importance.
