Group Presentation: Youthenasia

Youthenasia - the gamer's therapy. Josh, James, Andrew, and Chip, put together a great presentation on gaming. I thoroughly enjoyed their presentation. Youthenasia is a group blog about gaming. Each contributor wrote about their favorite types of games, which include RPGs such as Final Fantasy and music games like DDR. The presentation included an in-depth look at anime, especially the anime series Naruto, and how it is a typical Japanese cartoon. The group gave insight into how the different elements of Naruto reflected the culture of Japan and how it compares to American culture. Then, Andrew demonstrated his mad skills on Beatmania with several difficult songs. Overall, I felt the presentation was great except for a few narrow-minded people in the back. I couldn't believe how they were snickering and making fun of their presentation. I mean, just because someone's interests are different than yours, doesn't give you a license to make fun of them. How would they have felt if we were all laughing at their presentation on sports? Shame on them.
