give up!!!
I honestly think that I should give up...I should just stop wasting my time and money on my damm car. By a car freaks standards I don't put in much money but stuff just doesn't go my way. Here is a story for all of you to laugh at, It is a true story and all I could do was luagh at myself.
Friday morning 8am I got up thinking today is the day I get my car back on the road and running. I's spent the last two days preparing several parts - painting, cleaning, sanding and I'd been buying everything I needed cause shops would be closed on friday.
Ok so everything was going pretty well, I has to reassemble half my engine and put a bunch of parts back on. While I had my engine apart I painted my extractors which is the bit that goes from the engine to the exhaust and this is a part that heats up quite alot so you need to paint it in special high temp paint.
Anyways got it all together and fired it up, it was a running a little rough but I was in the process of sorting all that out when the paint on the extractors started to smoke..alot. This is fine, its supposed to cause as they heat up it bakes the paint on. It was getting pretty toxic under my carport so i decided it would be best if I just back ed it out into the open and let it bake on.
I jumped in threw it in reverse, looked over my left shoulder and started backing it out, i got half way there when al of a sudden there was huge CRASH. I look over to my right and stupid stupid silly idiot me forgot to close my door and it has smashed staright into one of the beams of the carport. It shattered my whole window and bent the door out of shape which means I need a whole new door, another setback to the stupid saga of my car.
meanwhile my long weekend is going pretty ordinary so far, hopefully things pick up. had a bit of a let down last night but i'll overcome it.
