I had my speech banquet today. I did not know that I was allowed to print out my entire speech and just read it. Almost everybody else did that. I didn't, and ended up looking/sounding sorta ass-ish since I hadn't practiced at all either so I was mostly ad-libbing. Hopefully the professor noticed that I didn't "read" my speech and thus I earn like a thousand bajillionize points.
I registered for classes this fall, and I'm back up to 19 credits, 6 classes. It's gonna be fuggin' hilarious. One nice thing, though, is that all I have is a single lab on Friday. A single programming lab at 8am. That's it. And on other days I don't end any later than I do this quarter, so that's a bonus too. And with some actual humanities and social science classes next quarter, unlike this quarter which is all physics, math, programming, and speech, I may be able to stay focused a bit better.
I did not finish my physics notebook and am really tired. My prof. for the class seems caring enough, though, and probably won't mind me turning it in at the beginning of next week, especially if it's redone like I said it will (and that's what I've been doing. If I didn't start it over from scratch it'd be done by now but it'd look like ass).
Tomorrow will be easy, though, especially compared to today. Just one class and a quick lab. Today was a bitch. Catch a bus at 6:50, done with classes by 1, try to nap before the speech but couldn't, speech at 5:30, done at 7:30, and I get home by 8. Too much time spent at school for a commuter. But tomorrow, that's gonna be all relaxing and playing games. Next week's final exams seem like a breeze compared to today. And now I sleep.
EDIT: I forgot that "Friday" part somehow. It changes the meaning of the sentence entirely. I have two labs this quarter, the other being another software design sort of thing.
