Hadn’t changed my wallpaper since the January, so I’ve decided to use one of the shots from this morning as my wallpaper. I’ve made a few minor changes to the desktop since last time; I’ve started using a taskbar next to the start button for my data drive, and this has allowed me to shrink my Rocketdock by one icon.

Decided to take one of my sunrise photos from yesterday morning and make that my new desktop wallpaper. Yes, the horizon doesn't line up, but since the monitors are physically separated, it's not an issue.

My main monitor is a Dell 2209WA LCD panel, and for quite a while now, I've been using it with a secondary monitor, an old Dell 1504FP LCD that I appropriated from somewhere. The 1504FP was an old monitor, with a resolution of only 1024 x 768, the display wasn't the sharpest, and there was an area with slight unevenness in the colour. Nevertheless ( Read more... )

Here's the new desktop for my new netbook, using a photo from a while back as my wallpaper. As usual, I've moved the taskbar up to the top, I have Rainmeter on the left (with a modified version of the skin I coded for my Antec 200 desktop), I have Rainlendar on the right, synced with my desktop, and there's Rocketdock at the bottom.

New computer, new LCD screen, new OS, so it's new desktop time. The resolution is now 1680*1050 due to my new Dell 2209WA LCD (which has a IPS panel), as opposed to the 1280*800 of my laptop, but otherwise, things are generally the same.
