I feel so lucky to be such a big part of history. I spent LONG long time in line today, and it was so worth it. We have elected an amazing person to be our next president.
January 20th can't come soon enough.
Watching and listening to Obama's speech, I was so inspired. I was brought to tears of joy and such a huge sense of inspiration. I am proud of our country...and that's something I haven't been able to say in a very long time.
My kudos to McCain. His speech was also inspiring, and I felt every word he said. But he wasn't my president.
There are people in my neighborhood swarming the street, cheering and dancing and chanting. I never expected to see such a reaction, and I am proud to live in Brooklyn. We're ready. We're ready for change. We're ready for a new America.
