Oscar De La Hoya put up a good fight.. until the ninth round that is.
He has been slowly gaining weight for years now to fight as a middle weight. So he really didn't have anything to lose.
Benard Hopkins power punches were better.. and he also threw more punches than Oscar. It was really close though and Oscar De La Hoya had a chance to win the twelve round fight. Benard kind of had Oscar backed up against the corner during the ninth round and then he threw a right hook to the body.. and it hit in the right spot because Oscar De La Hoya fell to the ground and just couldnt get up. He had the breath taken out of him.. he said no matther how soft or hard it had been it didnt matter because he had hit him in the right spot. :( So He was so mad at himself he started bangin the floor of the ring with his fist in agony. It was sad but he made I think 30 million dollars lad night fighting.
I dont like Sundays because I have so much homework. and today I have a TON of homework. But I think Im going to go to sleep.
